Tertiary Filtration

Early 2006 will see the company build its first microfiltration unit at Kurrajong, NSW; the 13 block residential sub-division requiring A class wastewater for toilets, hand held hosing and direct irrigation.
The unit will sit downstream of a secondary treatment plant with Nitrogen reducing capabilities, and will accept wastewater and polish it to levels allowing for use as above post UV sterilisation.
OHW as an OEM has been able to access the latest Microza TM hollow fibre membrane modules, enabling us to tailor MF, UF and NF systems to the customers requirements, and at the same time delivering great savings over an 'off the shelf' unit.
The filtration modules can be used either as a stand alone unit, accepting and filtering raw sewage, or can be used in conjunction with a biological treatment plant drawing feed from either the primary, secondary or clarification stage, depending upon site, maintenance and cost constraints.
